This engine is a conversion of a diesel engine block into a spark ignited propane or natural gas engine.  The heavy duty pistons, bearings, crankshaft, oil seals, valve train, etc, required to withstand the combustion process of diesel compression makes for a heavy duty long life engine burning propane or natural gas under spark ignition.
