This Kubota model incorporates a turbo, makeing it one of the smallest diesel engines for its horsepower!  The Kubota 722T is well supported within the US Army. The reliability is good.  The turbo help compensates for operation at higher altitudes.

The higher cost of this engine and the lack of a factory supplied engine warranty limits this generator to military applications.
