PANELS:

BATTERY SYSTEM:
Industrial Battery Engineering Model 3-75N-9. Rating
is 389 amp hour at 20 hour discharge rate. Supplied with gas recombinant caps for 6 month
watering intervals. Batteries will average a 10-year life. Batteries are enclosed within a
lockable and vented steel case for protection. Batteries are very resistance to damage
during transportation to remote sites. To facilitate hand carry the battery bank is
divided into two 6-Volt batteries weighing approx. 180 lbs. each. Batteries meet WHO
specifications.
ARRAY CABLE:
20 meters is standard length, direct burial-type cable. 6 Awg cable allows for a minimum
voltage drop of only 2 to 5% depending on distance between refrigerator and Array
structure.

COMMENTS:
The RR-50L can be ordered as a 100% refrigerator or 100% freezer, or
50% refrigerator and 50% freezer. System B and C are sized for 50% refrigerator and
freezer.

ALL SYSTEMS (RR-1, RR-2, RR-50L) INCLUDE:
Temperature indicator, locking cabinet lid, Removable
freezer/refrigerator divider for RR-1 and RR-2, non-removable divider for RR-50L.
CHARGE CONTROLLER:
Red light to signal load disconnect (do not open refrigerator). Green light to signal
fully charged battery and power diversion (or increase ice production). Yellow light to
signal stop ice production or possible low voltage disconnection. Average 20-year life.
Lightning protection included. Fully automatic, no manual resets are required. Temperature
compensation to maximize battery life.
PAYMENT TERMS:

possible. Deposits with order will expedite delivery.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Defects in workmanship and materials. Two years on Danfoss compressor and motor
controller, 5 years on refrigerator and controls, 10 years on PV array, 5 years prorated
on the battery.
